Wikipedia: An aquila (eagle) was a prominent symbol used in ancient Rome, especially as the standard of a Roman legion. Even after the adoption of Christianity as the Roman Empire's religion, the eagle continued to be used as a symbol by the Holy Roman Empire.
The photomicrograph was taken using a transmitted light microscopy (4X objective Lens) and digital camera.
The subject formed by micro crystal naturally on the microscope glass slide.
