Nine Muses: Calliope (epic poetry), Clio (history), Euterpe (flutes and music), Thalia (comedy and pastoral poetry), Melpomene (tragedy), Terpsichore (dance), Erato (love poetry and lyric poetry), Polyhymnia (hymns and sacred poetry) and Urania (astronomy). Three Charites (Graces): Aglaea (Shining), Euphrosyne (Joy) and Thalia (Blooming).

The photomicrograph was taken using a transmitted light microscopy (4X objective Lens) and digital camera.

The subject formed by micro crystal naturally on the microscope glass slide.
