Zeus tricked the still pregnant Metis and swallowed her whole. Metis still managed to bear their daughter Athena.

The photomicrograph was taken using a transmitted light microscopy (4X objective Lens) and digital camera.

The subject formed by micro crystal naturally on the microscope glass slide.
